2005 SKA Pro Tour, Morehead City • 4th place.
2005 SKA Division 4, St. Mary's Kingfish Classic • 2nd place Junior Division: The team headed to St. Augustine and stuck with their spot until 2 p.m. without any payoff – just then, “in 40 feet of water, a ribbonfish with a pearl baby duster on a long line went off.” Landed smartly by Chelsea Lau and weighing in at 41.55 lb., it earned Team KooLau second place honors in the junior division.
2003 SKA National Championship, Biloxi, Miss. • 3rd place: Fishing the West Delta, they had early indications of their strong finish. Landed their first day fish by 10:30 a.m. – hooked by a hardtail on the surface by Andy Seeker – it weighed in at 53.46 lb. Day two looking for a repeat performance, they pulled in a 42 and a 48 – just not enough to put them over the top. After a short move, “first the downrigger line went off and then the two outrigger lines…one king ran through another boat’s lines. Everyone around us was hooked up. One king died and we had to pull it up from the bottom.” The top king weighed 53.93 lb. and netted Team KooLau a 3rd place finish.

Meet Captain Conrad Lau 
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas Conrad relocated to Jacksonville, Florida and earned a Computer Science degree at University of North Florida. Conrad began his career as a computer programmer and quickly progressed to architecture design and continues today as an accomplished IT manager. He has 18 years of progressive experience with a unique ability to communicate with the customer.
In addition to his professional career as a IT manager, Conrad is also an entrepreneur. In 1997, Conrad launched his own company called Radical Applications, Inc. Working as a partner with IBM, his company provided analysis & design, development and management over-site for web based systems utilized for such sporting events as Wimbledon, The French Open and the other Grand Slams of Tennis, The Masters and the Professional Golf Association championship.
