Kim Bain-Moore
28-year-old Kim Bain-Moore has been fishing since the age of four. She has fished 21 countries (approximately 70 international trips) around the world (including more than 25 states of the USA and every state and territory of Australia). Kim has successfully competed in USA bass, walleye, redfish and kingfish tournament circuits.
In 2008, Kim won the B.A.S.S Women’s Bassmaster Tour Angler of the Year and was a two time WBT event winner, including the WBT Championship. The Angler Of The Year title earned Kim a berth as the first women to ever compete in the much coveted Bassmaster Classic in the 39 year history of the organization. To add to her freshwater success, Kim has been competing on the Southern Kingfish Association Pro Division where she, along with AFW Sponsored angler Andre Moore (husband), won the 2009 season opener event in Key West, FL.
An International TV fishing presenter/commentator, Kim has worked on such productions as ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games (Emmy award winning) & Bassmaster Classic (in 2004, 2005 and 2006) and fishing programs with 12 different production houses, including a five series (70 episodes) show in Australia; the USA’s In-Fisherman and FLW Outdoors on FSN.
Kim has also been a repeat guest on FSN’s Best Damn Sport Show Period alongside celebrities Chris Rose and Tom Arnold and was also featured on CBS news with Katie Couric. News stories and articles on Kim have appeared in Newspapers and on TV across the world, as well as her contributions being published in 38 different titled publications, over 5 continents of the world. Kim has graced the covers of 17 magazine covers and 2 calendars. Kim is currently filming as a co-host for a fishing show called “Breaking The Surface” to air on Sportsman Channel later in 2009.

Twice Australian Female Bass Angler Of The Year.
12th place at FLW Championship (2005).
12th place at FLW REDFISH Championship (2005).
5th place Amateur in B.A.S.S Western Open - Lake Shasta (Nov 2005).
Finished 18th in Amateur in B.A.S.S Western Open AOY Point standings (2005).
13th Multiple Australian line class record holder in Sportfishing, Lurecasting, Gamefishing and FlyFishing.
Over 200 trophies in saltwater and freshwater fishing competitions in Australia.
1st place - Women's Bassmaster Tour (April 2008).
4th place - Women's Bassmaster Tour (May 2008).
6th place - Women's Bassmaster Tour (June 2008).
2nd place- Women's Bassmaster Tour (September 2008).
2nd place team - Southern Kingfish Association (Division 5) Jacksonville tournament (670 boat field).
13th overall in points for Southern Kingfish Association (Division 5) in 2008.
8th overall in points for for Southern Kingfish Association (Division 5) Ladies Division.
Qualified for 2008 National SKA Kingfish Championship (Nov 2008).

I have so many! Most recently it would be catching a 5lb bass at the 2008 BASS WBT Championship…it was on a topwater too…a Reaction innovations Trixie Shark.

What tip would you give a non professional angler?
Fishing is a learning experience – enjoy the journey! Everytime you’re on the water, you’ll learn something.

When not fishing I like to…
Spend time with my family and my dogs, Digger and Moby.
Hunting, hiking, reading – catching a funny movie at the cinema.
