Crimping Leader Sleeves

Follow these steps to make leaders and rigs. You'll need:

• fishing wire or monofilament
• leader sleeves
• crimping pliers

Single Barrel Leader Sleeves

	STEP 1: Thread wire through sleeve and part being connected.
	STEP 2: Pass the wire back through the sleeve to create a loop. Align wires next to each other inside the sleeve.
	STEP 3: Firmly crimp the sleeve and wire using special crimping pliers. Two side-by-side compressions may be necessary if the sleeve is longer than the width of the crimping tool.

Double Barrel Leader Sleeves

	STEP 1: Thread wire through sleeve and part being connected.
	STEP 2: Pass the wire back through the sleeve to create a loop. Align wires next to each other inside the sleeve.
